Zooing with Marie!
Some doodles I did at the zoo... I saw some stuffed animals at the ROM the other day... stuffed animals are no fun, what with their lacking of emotions, weight and awesome poses. Live things are always way more awesome and fun to draw.

Dr. Sketchy's Toronto
Went to Dr. Sketchy's yesterday and I won with this drawing. It was a 5 min pose and i spent some break time cleaning it up.
Below are a couple other drawings from the evening a 1 minute pose and a 5 minute pose.
Dinosaurs at the ROM
I went to the ROM on Sunday to draw the dinosaurs. My drawings felt stiff for the most part, but that might be because bones on their own are missing the fleshy weight that I enjoy so much. So my favourite drawing of the day was of this little girl. She was intently pointing out to us where the dinosaurs were. She did this several times and I quickly jotted down her likeness and posture committing the details of her wardrobe to memory. I drew the final drawing over dinner.

Piratey Love.
Watch as this pirate professes his undying love for you.
Most pirates say "Arrr!" but not this pirate, no, not this pirate.

I drew Seiler again..
There's this contest on the interwebs... caricature Jason Seiler the winner gets a caricature by Jason Seiler...
At first I thought "I already drew a caricature of him..." but then I thought "... I could draw... Another!"
This took roughly an hour and a half. I am rather happy with the hat texture. I think im startng to figure out this digital painting thing.

Dr. Sketchy's Toronto
I just returned from Dr. Sketchy's I really liked the model's costumes this week. I mean seriously: pirate, little red riding hood and flying monkey from the wizard of oz.
The one below is from the last time i went about a month ago... I had cleaned up the drawing a week or so later and never posted it....

In the works...
I decided the other day that I needed a new profile picture for facebook so I started this digital painting of myself. It's still in the works... it is actually cropped to hide the extremely unfinished lower half...
