I went life drawing at titmouse the other day. The model wore some neat costumes.

I went to Fish World today! (a fish store near where I live) Here's one of the fish I drew there. I coloured it in photoshop when I got home, and added a fancy boarder.

A thing I drew on sketcher

I have access to an online sketcher channel, it's like a horribly gimped version of photoshop but everyone in the channel draws on the same page. You can watch each other draw and there's a little chat thing, its fun.

Figure Paintings

I went to figure drawing again this week. Here are some 5 minute poses that I decided to paint. Don't get me wrong, I don't claim to have painted each of these in 5 minutes. Rather I drew each pose about 3 times during the 5 minute pose then spent the rest of the session painting them. Since the model was still there, I could still reference while I was painting, I just had to improvise a bit.

The figures are only about 4" tall and on the same little black board in acrylic.

Valentines Day Life Drawing

I went life drawing today. Put some hearts in some of the backgrounds for valentines day.

I went to see Marlo Meekins, Seo Kim, Steve Manale and Britt Wilson draw at the 24 hour zine event for Nuit Blanche. I did this drawing of Marlo while I was there.

Little oldtimey car

I went to Toronto Island with Brent the other day. They have theme park rides where children get to drive cute oldtimey cars like this one. The cars sound like lawnmowers and they are on a bumper track so any homicidal maniac children can't run over the nearby artists who decide to sketch them.
