Run Cycle Finished?

So I think I'm done with this run cycle... I've never really animated anything before so some critique would be nice... expecially before I go and rotate all the poses...

So... I just got Flash on my computer!! (finally)... and I decided to fix the animation up in flash.. It needed inbetween frames anyway.

Previously I was using a combination of photoshop and windows movie maker ... and I was having trouble getting things to look smooth/good..... so below is my less ghetto flash version.

Life Drawing Marathon

Yesterday I went with a friend to a 12 hour life drawing marathon at OCAD.
I drew this first one on the subway on the way down... I really like the guy on the bottom right with the concave face.

Concept Art for the game

I'm working on a Video Game with my brother, I've been working on developing a look for the environment. Here is some concept art to show what I hope it will look like.

Water

i Recently I've been working on a lot of the background stuff for the game. Since its mostly tiles and little things for the ground I've been trying to make a full background to post, rather then posting tiles on their own... Yesterday I decided to make a water tile. Its a bit more difficult then the rest of my tiles because its water and water needs to move in order to look mildly water-like. It also needed to tile so the motion from one side needed to transfer seamlessly to the other. So instead of painstakingly trying to figure it out on my own, I simply did the math, and graphed me an animated water tile:




Note: this tile will have a gradient to alpha so you can see through it a little.
